Online Safety
Online safety is an important part of computing, to equip children with the skills they need to stay safe in our digital world. Online safety is taught in all classes as part of the computing curriculum. Lessons take place each term from our scheme 'Teach Computing'. We also teach online or E-Safety at different points in the year such as Safer Internet Day and Well-being week. Other opportunities for online safety discussions occur in PHSE or in response to particular events.
We support online safety at home by providing federation families with additional information online, in newsletters and cyber workshops e.g.28th February 2025 at Wrington Primary.
'Oscars adventures in the online world' is a lovely book to help children understand what it takes to stay safe online. They need to help Oscar make the right decision on his journey into the online world. Click on the link below to read the PDF version of this book
