Maple visits St Monica's

The residents of St Monica's were treated to a very special WW2 music, dance and poetry performance today. There was not a dry eye in the audience, and it was great to see all the senior citizens singing and clapping along to the songs. After the show, one of the residents requested Lambeth Walk again and this time everyone got up and danced. It was a very special moment.

After receiving lots of compliments from residents about how brilliant the show was and how well behaved the children had been, it was time for lunch. For some children, this was a wonderful opportunity for inter-generational conversation.

What a wonderful way to spread some Christmas Joy!
