Leadership Success
A huge congratulations to all those nominated for leadership roles across the school. These positions reflect the values, trust, and responsibility that Burrington encourages in its pupils, and it's inspiring to see such strong examples of student-led initiative.
School Councillors
Peer-nominated and representing every year group from Reception to Year 6, School Councillors play a vital role in shaping Burrington’s culture. Their involvement in projects like setting up a food bank, promoting sustainability with Aspens catering, and supporting
charitable causes through fundraising showcases courageous advocacy and a commitment to positive change. They also help nominate peers for the 'Good Egg' award each term.
Year 6 Sports Leaders
Selected for their outstanding leadership, excellent behaviour, and positivity, these students will be running games throughout the week, coaching classmates during PE, and representing Burrington at Cluster sporting events.
Almoners
Chosen for their reliability and trustworthiness, Almoners are responsible for managing charity collections and supporting the school’s fundraising efforts.

Merit Monitors
Handpicked by Ms Joskey, Merit Monitors assist teachers during Celebration and Award services, helping to make these moments special for everyone.

House and Vice Captains:
Nominated by their houses, these leaders guide their teams during Sports Day and lead CREW services, fostering house spirit and collaboration.
Looking ahead, Burrington will continue to offer exciting leadership opportunities, including roles such as play buddies, music ambassadors and anti-bullying ambassadors.
