Armed Forces Day

Tomorrow is Armed Forces Day. In school this week, we have been learning about the important role the Armed Forces play in keeping us safe, and the great sacrifices made not only by those in service, but by their families too.

We are proud to have children in our school whose family members have served, are currently serving, or will soon be serving in the Armed Forces. Some of these children shared their own experiences with us in service today.

Through books, we have also explored how families stay connected with loved ones who are far away. Though often out of sight, the Armed Forces remain an essential part of our communities. Their bravery, dedication, and quiet strength reflect an important message we have been discussing in school: we’re all connected, and every contribution matters.
