A Hint of Snow White

What an incredible production it was of A Hint of Snow White last week. From the moment we walked into the transformed Parish Rooms and saw the glorious painted set with its greenery and twinkling lights (thank you especially to Mel and Paula for their artistic skills and sheer magic!), we knew we were in for a treat! 

The children performed brilliantly with their convincing acting, dramatic speaking and delightful singing. From solo to ensemble, newly discovered talent to seasoned performers, it was a triumph. The personal growth that many of the
children experienced as they bravely took on solos or memorised lines which were delivered with renewed confidence was a joy to see. 

Thank you to the ASC for wonderful prop-making and to those involved in beautiful costumes. Finally, thank you to the amazing staff for their casting, teaching, encouragement and effort that ensured such success. So much work (and
energy!) went on in the lead up to the performances, often out of school time when also trying to juggle many other things on the ‘to do’ list! We all salute you. 

These performances are so much more than just  ‘a performance’ but give children opportunities for team work, presentation, delivery, perseverance and courage.  Bravo to all!
